I’ve been traveling a lot this month and wanted to share some of my adventures with you, along with the outfits I wore, as seen in my Instagram photos.
First up was Lisbon, Portugal. We spent a day wandering through its charming streets. I wore an old Dogstar top and a Stella Carakasi skirt.
Next, we flew to Miami, where I enjoyed a day at the beach in a flower tunic I’ve had for years and a sunhat I bought in The Netherlands. I also sipped on some fabulous mojitos, wearing my reversible Lizzy & Coco flower dress.
From Miami, we boarded a cruise ship that took us to the Cayman Islands, Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. Onboard, I wore an older flower top and a high-low skirt from Zara.
We then spent a few days in Savannah, Cuba, where I wore my reversible Lizzy & Coco dress again, this time reversed. My favorite photo from Cuba shows the contrast between the old and new, with a classic car in the foreground.
Back in Florida, we visited Key West and rented bicycles. I wore a silk mini dress I got in New York two years ago, which proved perfect for various occasions.
After Florida, we spent some time with family in Los Altos, California. Then, I said goodbye to my family as they headed back to Singapore, and I traveled to Los Angeles. There, I met Rosemond, a 40+style contributor, and wore new wide pants from Filippa K and an older In Good Company top.
In LA, we had a meetup with 40+Style club members, including Gina, Rosemond, and Tracy. I wore my old long asymmetrical blouse and Weekend by Max Mara pants, paired with booties from Lilian.
I also had the pleasure of meeting my online friend Susan in person for the first time.
Currently, I’m in New York, where I sat down on the Brooklyn Bridge and met up with some fabulous friends: Shauna, Teresa, Diana, and Sue. To match their stylish and colorful vibes, I wore a new African print ‘suit’ from Weekend by Max Mara.
Yesterday, I reunited with several incredible women I met two years ago. Everyone was dressed boldly in color and print. I wore an old DKNY skirt and an Essentiel blouse.
