This summer, I’ve embraced pastel colors, but I like to pair them with brighter colors for some contrast. Red is my go-to bright color, and it works really well with green.
Let me share two looks featuring my new top from Stella Carakasi. The top looks great on its own, especially when paired with belly-tucking leggings, like the second nature capri leggings. I love these leggings so much that I have them in several colors. They’re versatile enough for everything from super casual outings to casual chic looks and even sports.
Normally, I wear an S for bottoms at Stella Carakasi, but these leggings arrived in an XS and fit even better. The high rise and slightly tighter fit give my tummy and upper legs a streamlined look.
For a more layered look, I paired the top with a cropped sweater. Initially, I wasn’t sure how to style this sweater, but I ended up loving the result. It’s great for covering up your upper arms, adds some warmth, and gives the outfit a unique touch.
I also recently bought a mirror which has been a game-changer for me. My eyesight has worsened over the years, making it hard to apply eye makeup or maintain my eyebrows. This mini mirror, which magnifies 10 times, has made it so much easier to see those fine hairs and remove them. It might seem pricey for a mirror, but the high magnification and bright light are worth it. You can find this mirror at Macy’s, Nordstrom, or Cult Beauty. Prices vary, so check each retailer for the best deal.
