I’ve been in the Netherlands for the past four weeks, and I absolutely love it. Visiting every year is a treat because it’s so different from Singapore. This summer, I’ve been enjoying my time in Haarlem, my new hometown, and Amsterdam, which is nearby.
This year was extra special because I got to stay in my own house and even celebrated my birthday there. Here’s a little peek into what life is like here. Just like my style, I love using a lot of white as a base, so I can add pops of color.
For my birthday, I received some beautiful flowers from my husband. Yes, the house actually has a bright lime green wall! I also have lots of colorful paintings and eight different colored chairs. There isn’t a specific theme, but I have a soft spot for butterfly imagery as they symbolize beauty and freedom to me. That’s the vibe I’m going for.
My outfit today is something you’ve probably seen before, but now I’ve paired the white basics with a blue and green asymmetrical top.
That’s a bit about my colorful life in the Netherlands. How do you add color to your life?
