I thought it would be fun to show you some different ways to wear the skirt and necklace I mentioned earlier. These are actually the various styles I considered while planning my outing to Singapore’s Boat Quay.
Wear With A Sweater
First up, try pairing the skirt with a knitted sweater. This combo was popular on the runways and is perfect for cooler weather. Feel free to add some tights!
Have Fun With Pattern Mixing
For a more hip and funky style, add a printed top. In this outfit, the necklace blends in nicely but still adds some sparkle.
Keep It Simple & Clean With White
Next, there’s the short white blouse. It looks great with the arty skirt. You can even throw on a jacket for an added touch.
Wear It With More Color
Finally, here’s the skirt with the orange top again. This creates the most casual and colorful look out of the four.
Of course, there are so many other ways to style this skirt. I haven’t even tried pairing it with jackets or adding black on top. A tucked-in white button-down shirt would look fabulous too.
Skirts are really versatile, and I’ve found that a printed skirt is especially fun and easy to wear. You might want to add one to your wardrobe too!
