Women have a thing for shoes, no doubt about it! For a long time, I was more into clothes, but recently, shoes have caught more of my attention. Nowadays, I often start creating an outfit by picking out the shoes first, just like I did with this particular ensemble that began with a pair of fabulous booties.
As I’ve aged, I’ve become more practical in my choices. Sure, shoes need to look good, but they also have to fit well and be walkable. Finding shoes that are both stylish and comfortable is always a challenge.
I had previously mentioned Antelope shoes, a brand known for its unique, comfortable, and clever designs. When they asked me to pick a pair from their latest collection, I was immediately drawn to these black booties. Even though I live in hot Singapore, I’ve always loved booties and would probably wear them all the time if I lived somewhere cooler.

An interesting thing about these booties is they have a hidden wedge inside, adding an extra three inches to your height without looking like high heels.
