Maybe not completely bohemian, but this outfit definitely gives off a boho vibe.
The t-shirt is from Stella McCartney’s sport collection for Adidas. When I bought it, it was all crumpled up and reminded me of an Issey Miyake t-shirt. I love fabrics that have that treated, elastic look, but I knew it wouldn’t last. Even though I don’t iron this t-shirt and often scrunch it up and toss it in my closet, you can never quite recapture the original effect.
I was smart enough to get it in the smallest size available, learning from past experience that fabrics like this lose their crumpled elasticity quickly and can become too large. This t-shirt, however, is still quite wearable, and I really like the color and the back design. Here, I’ve paired it with an old denim skirt from Sportsgirl. Although I’ve been more into A-line skirts in recent years, I’m really into pencil skirts again. I’m glad I don’t follow the rule about throwing away clothes you haven’t worn in a year!
This skirt had a similar crumpled treatment, and although it has faded, you can still see the effect a bit. Paired with an Alldressedup necklace, Zara hat, and a loose cardigan, it creates a relaxed and casual bohemian outfit.
How would you describe this look? Do you like crumpled fabrics?
